May 3: Stevenage Borough have turned back the clock two years and reappointed Graham Westley as manager following Peter Taylor’s departure. Westley’s return will not sit comfortably with many at Broadhall Way. Although an extremely focused manager, Westley’s approach and dour style did not endeare him to Stevenage fans. It’s not the first time, Boro chairman has gone for a former manager - he brought Paul Fairclough back to the club in 1999. Wallace said: "The opinion of the board is that we need a manager who can hit the ground running coming August, so extensive knowledge of the Conference is essential. Graham most certainly has that and is our preferred choice."

Chairman of the club’s Football Management Committee, Dave Thomas, commented: "It's not been an easy time for anybody associated with the club. Stuart is a very talented coach and we want him to continue at the club. Both he and Lee are in their first managerial jobs and we intend giving them as much support as possible so they can fulfil their obvious potential."

The non-league vidiprinter has closed down owing to poor support from across the leagues. Next season, we are looking to provide some sort of service through the Hitchin clubcall line. Chris Blackburn may look after this. Something to think about for the summer.
